NHL Hockey Pool

The Annual NHL Box Pool is the Edge Parent Ambassadors ONLY Fundraiser.

The Box Pool was originally designed to create some fun and good-natured competition throughout the NHL hockey season. The Pool is open to all - staff, students, alumni, their families and friends.

All funds generated go back to the students for activities such as: BBQ's, Edge Olympics, and World Series Day just to name a few.  The Edge Parent Ambassadors can continue to support these events during the year with your help and participation in the Hockey Pool. Help us get the word out to your family and friends and we encourage you to put your expertise to the test!

Registering & How Does It Work

Entry Fee	$20 per team
Entering Teams	Poolies enter their own teams online, once they receive their password and link. This information is emailed to you once we have received the entry fee and the registration form.
Registration	Sign-up forms and information about this hockey pool is made available in October annually.
Prize	Winner will have their name inscribed on the Hockey Pool banner to be displayed in the school for all to see.  A presentation ceremony & Pizza Party for the class associated with the winner. And Bragging Rights!
Rules	Pick 1 player from each box. Your team will consist of 24 players: Forward Goals = 2 point Assists = 1 point Defensemen Goal/Assist = 2 points Goalies = 3 points for wins; 3 points for shutouts; 1 point for overtime loss

Freebies	Register 5 entry/teams (payment must be included) and receive 1 free entry/team ($20 value).
Pool Status / Updates	www.officepools.com All entries can be tracked via stats provided on the Office Pools website, where top point getters are calculated daily. What’s more, it encourages interaction between the entrant “GM’s” through the “Trash Talk” site. You can boast, brag, gloat, grin, or revel in the spotlight of being a top-end general manager (unless Mr. Main’s players pass you by – in which case he will be the one you see walking down the hall with a fist pump every few steps.)
