Welcome to the Jim Davidson Sports Complex, a world class athletic, recreational and community-use facility made possible by the generous contributions of Calgary's community leaders and philanthropists.

Jim Davidson, Chairman & CEO of FirstEnergy Capital, was the galvanizing donor behind this state-of-the -art complex, as he joined Edge's Founders and several outstanding corporate and foundation partners in bringing this dream to life.

Inside this 90,000 square foot complex you will find the Shaganappi Automotive Group Ice Centre, 2 NHL-sized arenas - the Kyle Stuart Memorial Arena and the Provident Energy Arena, the ATB Investor Services Founders & Alumni Lounge, the G2 Gymnasium - 2 NBA-sized courts, fitness training centre, 2 dance studios, golf centre and a sports medicine area.

While used by all Edge student-athletes and staff during the school hours, these athletic amenities become community-use facilities during prime time hours - from about 5 pm to midnight on weekdays and from 7 or 8 am to midnight on week-ends.  In fact, 85%+ of prime time usage is by community user groups.  These groups vary from Springbank Minor Hockey and other Calgary minor hockey teams and organizations, volleyball and basketball groups, dancers, golfers, Calgary Adult Hockey League teams and players, local cultural and social groups, Calgary and area businesses and folks just like you.
