Scoring a goal is the most exciting aspect of the game of soccer. There are many different ways of scoring (maybe a banana kick or a bicycle kick) and many different things that lead up to a goal ranging from good possession and build-up to defensive mistakes. Regardless of how it all started, the ultimate fact is that goals are scored because the striker (shooter) was composed and the shot was well timed and precise.
This is a workshop focusing on the “Art of scoring” and becoming “an effective offensive player”. Regardless of what position they play or level, players will learn the 13 different types of shots ranging from the “banana kick” and “Volleys” to the most exciting and most difficult, the “Bicycle kick”. Along with the skills training, players will also participate in small sided games where they can put their skills to practice and be introduced to the popular game of Futsal.
“The Art of Scoring” Workshop will be lead by Edge Soccer Director and former professional soccer player Eddie Escobar. For more information or to REGISTER, please contact Eddie.
