Charity Hockey Tournament
March 23-25, 2012
The inaugural Kids Play 4 Kids™ Charity Hockey Tournament, held in Calgary on the weekend of March 23-25, 2012, will be hosted in support of the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation, Edge School Foundation and Hockey Calgary.
This awe-inspiring 4-on-4 Kids Charity Hockey Tournament invites 110 teams of young hockey players across multiple divisions of Timbits to Peewee to play in the tournament. All teams will play a fun non-contact game of hockey with two-25 minute periods in a round robin of four games. Over 2,200 children will play 250 games on 10 different ice surfaces throughout the city of Calgary. Tournament registration is open to full teams who are registered with local minor hockey associations.

The overall focus of the tournament is to promote awareness and excellence in health, education and sport through the passion of hockey.
The purpose of the tournament is to inspire children with character building and leadership opportunities to empower them to understand the importance of families, strength of communities, and the ultimate gift of giving back to less fortunate “kids”.
