The Hockey Team Program is both comprehensive and competitive. Edge School has girl's and boy's hockey teams that play in leagues, tournaments and exhibition games in Alberta and throughout North America. Teams typically practice three to four times a week. Students also work on their mental and physical strength and conditioning off the ice, with a goal of continually improving their skills and ability to play. Students in the Hockey Skill Academy are scouted for participation in the Hockey Team Program.
A major component of the Hockey Skill Academy and Team Program is player promotion and future placement. Students are introduced through travel to North American colleges and universities with respected hockey programs; tournaments and exhibition games are strategically chosen and organized for scouting potential.

February 24th was a special MPHL battle as between Edge School and St. Andrew’s. Austin Erhet's Power Play goal with 7 minutes to play gave Edge the 2012-2013 MPHL Championship over defending champion St. Andrew's College of Aurora, Ontario. It was our second championship and we denied St. Andrew's the rare opportunity to repeat as champions.
