As a university preparatory program, Edge School challenges student-athletes in Grades 5 to 12 to continually achieve new levels of personal excellence.

While addressing the prescribed Alberta Education provincial learning outcomes, Edge provide a uniquely balanced curriculum ensuring our students are welcomed by some of North America’s most prestigious post-secondary institutions.

To support these goals, Edge School staff and faculty, many of whom are former athletes, take into account student academic workloads and deadlines along with their training, performance and competition schedules. We understand how student-athletes think and learn and apply a variety of teaching methods to help them deliver results of excellence.

Supervised independent studies help students use their time effectively and online 'classrooms' allow students to stay connected with teachers while traveling. With approximately 20 students per class, our students receive the instruction and feedback they need to truly excel. Courses in all subjects and at all grades are developed and student programmes are shaped to prepare our graduates successfully for post-secondary education.
